What Is LaTeX?
LaTeX is a system for high-quality technical typesetting. Most mathematicians and many other people use LaTeX to typeset papers, exams, books, and more. The LaTeX Project Home Page has additional information.
Using LaTeX onlineYou can create an account on Overleaf (https://www.Overleaf.Com/) or ShareLaTeX (https://www.Sharelatex.Com/). Each allows you to write in LaTeX and access your files from any computer with an Internet connection.
Installing LaTeX on your personal computerMany campus computers have PCTeX installed on them. PCTeX is a one-installation-does-it-all program, but it has a fee. There are free versions of LaTeX available online for both the PC and the Mac.
To get LaTeX for the PC: go to http://www.Miktex.Org and follow their download and installation instructions.
To get LaTeX for the Mac: go to the MacTeX distribution page and download the installer package MacTeX.Mpkg.Zip . Once you have opened the zip file and run the installer you can use TeXShop to create, edit, and typeset your documents. TeXShop is included in the MacTeX installer package so you don't need to download it separately. In addition, the TeXShop documentation page includes links to free LaTeX guides to help you get started.

Miley Cyrus Promotes Upcoming Track 'Used To Be Young'Miley Cyrus is generating buzz and excitement for her new music through striking posters scattered across Los Angeles, promoting her upcoming track "Used To Be Young."
In the monochrome visuals, the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker donned a black latex bustier and matching high-waisted boy shorts from Margiela's Fall 2023 RTW collection, reminiscent of her iconic 2013 VMA performance attire.
This ensemble echoes her memorable controversial appearance, where she sported nude latex undergarments during a performance with Robin Thicke.
The posters feature lyrics from both past and potentially future songs, including lines like "I SAY I USED TO BE YOUNG," "I CAN BUY MYSELF FLOWERS," "I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL," and "I CAN ALMOST SEE IT THAT DREAM I'M DREAMING."
Miley Cyrus Cancels' Endless Summer Vacation' Tour InstagramMiley CyrusDespite the dazzling posters, Cyrus has refrained from promoting her new single on her Instagram page, where she has been relatively quiet since canceling her tour in May.
The pop icon took to her Instagram to announce the cancellation of her "Endless Summer Vacation" tour due to her preference for comfort at home. In the lengthy post, she clarified that her decision not to tour for her album is not a lack of appreciation for her fans.
Cyrus emphasized her strong relationship with her fanbase and her continuous efforts to innovate ways to stay connected without compromising her own well-being.
"When I win, WE win," she wrote. "Even if I don't see them face to face every night at a concert, my fans are felt deeply in my heart. I'm constantly creating and innovating new ways that I can stay connected to the audience I love – without sacrificing my own essentials."
InstagramMiley CyrusCyrus then noted why she wasn't interested in going through with the "Endless Summer Vacation" tour.
She said, "I simply don't want to get ready in a locker room. Which is the reality of life on the road. These looks I've been turnin don't travel well. The archival looks don't fold. I just don't want to sleep on a moving bus. It isn't what's best for me right NOW, & if you've been following my career you know that I always change and the way I feel about that could too."
While touring might not be on the horizon, Cyrus didn't rule it out for the future. She concluded her post by saying, "Love you forever, I'm just on my Endless Summer Vacation."
Fans Support Miley Cyrus' Decision To Postpone Tour InstagramMiley CyrusSupportive comments poured in from fans in response to Cyrus' statement about her tour being canceled.
"Normalize artists setting boundaries. They are human beings, not zoo animals," one person wrote.
Another supporter pointed out, "People are taking the sleeping on a bus and changing in a locker room statement WAY too literally… it's not about that or the "privilege" it's about mental health and well-being."
A concerned follower stated, "We love you more than anything and would never want you to sacrifice your health or happiness for anything miss you so much and the connection we used to have when you interacted with us more. Please heal completely as fast as possible and come back to us as soon as you're ready means the absolute world to us."
While adding to the positive sentiments, another comment read, "You do you baby girl!! We love to see you healthy and happy-that helps us keep our sanity as well."
Miley Cyrus Shares Inspiration Behind Her Upcoming Song MEGACyrus first hinted at her upcoming track, "Used To Be Young," during a May 2023 interview with British Vogue. She revealed that the inspiration behind the song emerged when she was offered a track that didn't resonate with her experiences.
Cyrus recalled, "It was like, you know, the standard f*cked up in the club track. And I was like, 'I'm two years sober. That's not where I spend my time, you know. You're more likely to catch me and my friends walking through rose gardens or going to a museum."
She went on to recite new lyrics, "I know I used to be crazy / I know I used to be fun / You say I used to be wild / I say I used to be young."
